Getting started

From idea to a machine-ready file.

Everything to go from a first design to the exact file your machine runs — in six steps.

The six steps

  1. Create your account, confirm the email OTP, and sign in.
  2. Pick your technique and machine — embroidery, print, weave, knit, quilt, embellishment, pattern-cut or schiffli — plus the fabric you’ll make it on.
  3. Start a design: write a prompt, upload your own artwork, or pick up a live trend. It comes back in your house’s own look.
  4. Refine it — colour, motif, scale, repeat, border, fabric — until the design is right.
  5. Make the file: one click writes the exact production file your machine runs.
  6. Produce: run the file on your machine, unedited — made as designed.

Before your first design — a quick checklist

  • Technique, machine and fabric are selected.
  • The design reads the way you want — motif, colour and scale are set.
  • Any uploaded artwork is clean, high-resolution, and yours to use.
  • The house look is applied, so the design comes back as yours.
  • You’ve chosen the machine you’re producing for, so the right file is written.

Where things live

Design

Start from a prompt, your artwork, or a trend — and generate a design.

Refine

Move the sliders and branch into variations until it’s right.

Make the file

Write the exact production file for the machine you chose.

Getting a good result

If you’re prompting

  • Name the motif, the colours, and the scale — the more specific, the closer the first result.
  • Say where it goes (all-over, border, placement) and the fabric it’s for.

If you’re uploading your own artwork

  • Use a clean, high-resolution original — not a compressed forward or a screenshot.
  • Flat, evenly-lit artwork with clear edges digitises far more faithfully.

What a run goes through

Queued

Your request is accepted and waiting for compute.

Action: Wait unless the queue time is unusual for your plan.

Designing

The design is being composed and checked for match and quality.

Action: Don’t resubmit the same request unless it fails.

Writing the file

The design is being digitised into your machine’s native file and validated against its format.

Action: Wait for the file to finish — it’s checked before it’s delivered.

Ready

The design and the production file are ready to review and download.

Action: Check the design, then download the file for your machine.

Failed

The run didn’t complete — usually an input or validation issue.

Action: Fix the prompt or the uploaded artwork, then retry once.

The file you get

Whichever technique you choose, the design compiles to that machine’s native file:

Embroidery.DST stitch file
PrintRIP-ready separations
Weavejacquard card
Knitknitout program
Quiltlongarm path
Embellishmentstone map
Pattern-cutgraded .DXF + cut marker
Schifflischiffli chart
