PatternAI Subscription & Paid Plans Agreement

This Subscription & Paid Plans Agreement ("Subscription Terms") applies to paid subscriptions, trials, add-ons, and other paid features of PatternAI (the "Paid Services"). These Subscription Terms supplement the PatternAI Terms of Service. If there is a conflict, these Subscription Terms govern billing and subscription matters.

Comparable SaaS and AI services typically include (i) auto-renewal, (ii) end-of-term cancellations, (iii) fees generally non-refundable, and (iv) a process for billing disputes.

1) Definitions

• "Account": Your PatternAI user account.

• "Plan": A paid subscription tier with defined pricing, features, and limits.

• "Billing Cycle": The recurring period you selected (e.g., monthly or annual).

• "Renewal Date": The date your subscription renews for the next Billing Cycle.

• "Team" (if applicable): A workspace with multiple members managed by an admin.

• "Admin": The person authorized to manage billing and membership for a Team.

2) Plans, Features, and Limits

2.1 Plan details. Each Plan's price, included features, usage limits, and restrictions are displayed on the pricing page, checkout, or your account dashboard.

2.2 Usage limits and fair use. Plans may include limits such as:

• number of uploads, renders, generations, or projects,

• storage caps,

• rate limits (requests per minute/hour/day),

• concurrency limits,

• "fair use" limits to prevent abuse.

2.3 Changes to features. We may add, remove, or modify features and limits over time. If a change materially reduces your Plan, we will provide reasonable notice where required by law.

3) Ordering, Payment Authorization, and Start of Service

3.1 Start of Paid Services. Your Paid Services begin when your payment method is successfully charged (or when a free trial starts, if applicable). This structure is common across subscription services.

3.2 Payment authorization. By subscribing, you authorize PatternAI (and its payment processors) to charge:

• recurring subscription fees on the Renewal Date,

• applicable taxes,

• any approved add-ons or usage-based charges (if offered).

3.3 Payment processors. Payments are processed by third parties. PatternAI does not store full card details; we receive transaction status and identifiers.

4) Auto-Renewal

4.1 Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each Billing Cycle unless you cancel before the Renewal Date. Auto-renewal is a standard subscription structure.

4.2 Renewal price. Renewal will be charged at the then-current price for your Plan unless:

• you are on a fixed-term enterprise agreement, or

• local law requires different notice/consent procedures.

5) Cancellation

5.1 How to cancel. You can cancel:

• via your account/subscription settings, or

• by contacting support at support@patternai.in from your account email.

5.2 When cancellation takes effect. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current Billing Cycle. You typically retain access to Paid Services until then. This "end-of-term" cancellation approach is widely used.

5.3 No cancellation by inactivity. Not using the Services does not cancel your subscription.

6) Refunds and Credits

6.1 General rule. Except where required by law or expressly stated in writing by PatternAI, subscription fees are non-refundable and we do not provide credits for:

• partial Billing Cycles,

• unused time,

• unused quotas/usage,

• downgrades during a Billing Cycle.

This "generally non-refundable" approach is common in comparable services.

6.2 Refund policy controls. If PatternAI publishes a separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, that policy governs refund eligibility and procedures.

6.3 Limited exceptions (at PatternAI's discretion). We may issue refunds or credits in limited cases such as duplicate charges or verified billing errors.

6.4 Jurisdictional rights. Nothing in these Subscription Terms limits non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

7) Trials, Promotions, and Discounts

7.1 Trials. If you start a trial, it may convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends (as indicated at signup/checkout).

7.2 Promotions. Promotional pricing applies only for the stated duration and conditions. Promotions generally cannot be applied retroactively.

8) Plan Changes (Upgrades, Downgrades)

8.1 Upgrades. If you upgrade your Plan:

• the upgrade may take effect immediately, and

• you may be charged immediately (including proration) as shown during the upgrade flow.

8.2 Downgrades. If you downgrade:

• the downgrade typically takes effect on your next Renewal Date,

• you retain current Plan access until then.

8.3 Proration model.

We do not prorate Plan changes unless explicitly shown at the time of change.

9) Annual Plan Cancellation

For annual subscriptions, contact support@patternai.in from your account email. Requests are reviewed by support on a case-by-case basis under current policy.

10) Taxes and Invoicing

10.1 Taxes. Prices may exclude taxes unless stated. You are responsible for applicable taxes (e.g., GST/VAT) unless we are required to collect/remit them.

10.2 Invoices/receipts. You can access invoices/receipts via your account or by contacting billing support at billing@patternai.in.

10.3 Customer billing details. You are responsible for providing accurate billing details (legal name, address, tax identifiers, etc., if applicable).

11) Failed Payments, Past Due Accounts, and Chargebacks

11.1 Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry payment and/or suspend Paid Services until payment is resolved.

11.2 Past due. Accounts with overdue balances may lose access to Paid Services and may have reduced access to certain features.

11.3 Chargebacks and disputes. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend your account during investigation. We recommend contacting billing@patternai.in first so we can attempt to resolve billing issues.

12) Billing Errors and Support

If you believe you were billed incorrectly, contact billing@patternai.in promptly with:

• account email,

• invoice/transaction ID,

• date and amount,

• explanation of the issue.

Comparable services explicitly direct customers to support for billing errors.

13) Suspension or Termination for Violations

If your account is suspended or terminated for violating the Terms of Service or acceptable-use rules, you may lose access to Paid Services immediately and may not be eligible for refunds except where required by law.

14) Changes to These Subscription Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date indicates the most recent revision. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where required by law.
